I have published a number of shots over the last few weeks of the Isle of Skye. Not surprising, given the fact we are in lock down because of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
So this week, I wanted to choose something different. Before I started the MA Photography, I was a wildlife photographer – spending much of my time overseas. In August 2015, I went to Kenya – to the Masai Mara to photograph the migration. Whilst I have lots of images of zebras crossing the river and the various predators lining up to take them down, it is this image that always makes me laugh. The title in my head for this shot is “Girls Night Out”. It looks like the zebras are having an intense chat . . .

Girls Night Out – Alison Price, Masai Mara, August 2015

Getting great images of zebra’s is really very difficult particularly reflecting their social behaviour. I think you have nailed it well with this image and caught the personality of these animals beautifully. Isn’t it wonderful what pops out of the archive when we have the time to look?
Just getting to grips with the changes made to my blog so forgive me for replying twice. I am hoping this comment will be sent to you via e-mail.
Thank you for your comment. I agree, having time to go through photographic archives is a delight in these difficult times.
