The early signs of autumn have come early this year, after a blazing summer.  The temperature has changed on my early morning walks, silage has been spread on the harvested fields, and the mornings are closing in, such that they are no longer early morning walks - not for me at least!  The vapour trails in the sky become much clearer and provide interesting patterns as the planes fly overhead on their path into Bristol.  The colours and the skies have become more vibrant.  While the wheat has been harvested, the sweetcorn stands tall and proud, providing an interesting foreground and structure for my images.  The leaves on the trees, such as the horse chestnut, are turning rusty brown and are beginning to fall in the unsettled weather of the past few days.
