I met with my supervisors to discuss progress on my thesis.

Chapter 1 is now in final draft form following comments from them and the resultant changes made.  Chapter 2 has now been reviewed again by me and I have a few further changes to make before putting it into InDesign.  I am waiting for feedback on Chapter 3 and will then do a final review.  Chapter 4 probably needs the most work and should reflect the changes made in Chapter 1.  I also need to ensure consistency of style and referencing before producing the Contents page and List of Exhibits.  I will also add the Appendices.  So, I am edging ever closer.  I plan to send a final draft of Chapter 2 to my supervisors next week and then the final draft of Chapter 4 in early May.  I will also send it to the copy editor.  A full final draft will be sent to my supervisors towards the end of May.  Then I have June to put any final touches to the document and make any last-minute changes.  The thesis will be submitted in electronic form, but I also intend to produce two hard copies – one for the examiners and one for me.

In May I will work on the format, layout, and printing of the images for the handmade Artist’s Book.  I will send various proposed layouts and sequences to my supervisors.   In June I will travel to North Uist to work with the bookbinder on putting it together.
