The meeting with my first supervisor was for me to provide an update on how my writing is progressing and reflections I had on the feedback on the first draft of my thesis. I explained that I had considered the comments carefully and decided to redraft the Practice Chapter from scratch. I planned to produce this new version first as my practice is central to everything else, and I would find feedback helpful on that chapter, before embarking on rewriting the other three chapters. I plan to submit the revised Chapter 2 for our December supervision meeting and then a full second draft by the end of January.
We spoke about the term I should use for my practice and research: whether I should refer to it as Practice-Based Research, Practice-Led Research or Practice as Research. We agreed to discuss this at our next meeting.
I proposed that I would travel to Dundee in February for a meeting to review the images to be included in the handmade book.
