I am pleased to say that I have submitted the second draft of Chapter 2 of my Thesis to my supervisors today.  This post is really to report this important milestone.

After feedback from my supervisors on the First Draft, I decided to begin by working on the chapter about my practice.  I have re-written the chapter from scratch, drawing upon previous writing, because I wanted to make sure the narrative would be clear to the reader.  Although deciding that I would do a total re-write was daunting, I think it allowed me to think again about what is most important in my practice and to discuss the moments of insight during my PhD.  It also allowed me to step back from Draft 1 and build on it rather than being shackled by it.

My next step is to begin a similar re-write of Chapter 3 which is about my academic research derived from my practice.  But for today I will bask in the feeling of a job well done and look forward to the feedback on Friday 16 December.
