The deadline for submitted my images for the Format Review is one week away. I have done a lot of work to edit the images but I now need to try out different layouts so that the job of uploading and ordering my images will be a simple task. I have also finalised my Artist’s Statement and Bio to submit alongside.
In order to make some choices about layout I have produced three alternatives for Autumn – the season of withdrawal and Winter – the season of becoming. The plan is to look and consider them for a few days and then decide on final edits and panelling.
I apologise if you are viewing these images on a mobile device but I am loading them here just to give you an idea of what I am doing.

Autumn – The Season of Withdrawal Contact Sheet 3 – Alison Price, March 2021

Winter – The Season of Becoming Contact Sheet 3 – Alison Price, March 2021
I still have work to do and Contact Sheets to produce for the Among Trees Collection.

These panels are excellent. Love the harmony and the consistent colour you have achieved with each panel. Looking forward to the trees.
Peter. Many thanks for your comment. It is always difficult to ensure panels are balanced in terms of aesthetics, tone and colour!
The second one resonates with me more, maybe it’s the colours esp as it feels autumnal. but i particularly like the way the lines run in a variety of ways – horizontal, diagonal and vertical.
Many thanks for commenting Jane and an interesting point about varying the ‘lines’ in the images.
