Much of my “practice” time this week will be spent preparing for the Format Portfolio Review. I need to submit my images and written pieces by 14 March in order that the reviewers can take a look at my work in readiness for the review meetings on 19/20 March. I have produced three layout options for the final collection I intend to submit – Among Trees.
I have decided to submit this collection in landscape form both in terms of the overall portfolio and the images. Although I am a great advocate of the square format for the presentation of my work, in the case of the trees I feel that the landscape format is more in keeping with our view and perspective of forests and woodlands. Here is just one of the three options I have produced.
My name is Alison Price and for the past ten years I have travelled the world photographing wildlife, including Alaska, Antarctica, Borneo, Botswana, the Canadian Arctic, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
