The start of Week 7 of lockdown commenced with a heavy rain storm during sunset and the first two images here reflect my mood as we all began another seven days of restricted freedom.  The quality, standard and subject of my photographic work inevitably reflects my mood and after over a month of trying to be creative in a small place I branched out – admittedly not far.  I drove along the Road towards Elgol for only a couple of miles to my daily exercise spot, and only a couple of miles from home.  I challenged myself to take all my images, with my mobile phone, from a brief stop at each passing place, winding down the window and making the best of the frame from the driving seat.  I found the images of trees most appealing.  It was early morning, the light was diffuse, the spring colours vibrant and the gnarled trunks and branches reflecting dawn sunlight.
