Week 6 of lock down has been challenging for us all, as we start to realise that our route out is not as imminent as we had all hoped. The same views, albeit beautiful, challenge me to come up with something different. I am beginning to think, that my approach of working with a theme for my images each week, may not be the best idea. Perhaps a more pragmatic outlook of just taking a shot that interests me, might provide a better sense of my thoughts, moods and experiences during lock down? For better or for worse, I decided to photograph the interesting patterns and shapes on the surface of the water outside our window. In processing my images I chose the black and white, square format that I had used in Week 1, which seems so long ago. As has been the case most weeks, I think the idea has some merit, but I am not necessarily sure, I am yet happy with the images or the processing decisions I have made.
