We are now in the fifth week of lock down and although I am very fortunate in living in a beautiful part of Scotland my creativity is beginning to wane. I decided to focus on clouds this week and had in my mind that maybe I would just photograph the cloud formations rather than giving them a sense of place. I have been very lucky – the weather is starting to become more spring-like and this has brought some lovely patterns in the sky. However, I am drawn back to giving you a glimpse of where I am spending lockdown. Maybe I will focus exclusively on clouds in future weeks as it looks like the current restrictions on our everyday lives will not be lifted anytime soon.

Alison Price
My name is Alison Price and for the past ten years I have travelled the world photographing wildlife, including Alaska, Antarctica, Borneo, Botswana, the Canadian Arctic, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Really enjoying looking at your photographs Alison from locked-down Bristol.
One benefit of this is having more time to sit and ponder on things, in this slower life, and it’s a treat to get a glimpse of Skye through your lens.
They are beautiful images.
Thank you Claire and glad the technology is working for you! It is challenging coming up with something different each week.
