I knew that embarking on a photograph a day project during lockdown would be tough from time to time – even without knowing that we would be restricted in our movement for so long. This week has been hard for a number of reasons, not least because we learned our dog Henry, who is fourteen years old, has a melanoma. I did try to take some photographs locally, but found little inspiration, so I decided to indulge myself by looking back through some of the images I have of Henry. He has a great spirit and I am sure we have some more happy times to share but I thought I would dedicate this week’s lockdown photographs to my faithful friend.

Alison Price
My name is Alison Price and for the past ten years I have travelled the world photographing wildlife, including Alaska, Antarctica, Borneo, Botswana, the Canadian Arctic, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Sorry to hear your news about Henry. These are lovely photos of him, what a handsome dog he is. Hoping you have lots of special times ahead with him.
Thank you Claire. He is handsome, loyal and totally devoted to me. What more could you ask for!

Sorry to see the news about Henry. We much enjoyed seeing the old photos including Alfie.
Henry is such a character. Hope that he gets the chance to enjoy the summer.
Glad you liked the photos. I enjoyed going through them. Henry has been on good form today and it looks like we have him a while yet!
Really good images of Henry, sad to hear of his condition but hopefully he will be around for some time yet.
