I am continuing to experiment with different intentional camera movement and processing techniques to get to the essence of Skye.  In my Final Major Project Proposal I committed to taking lots of images and I am now coming to the end of my extended time in Skye.  I will be back in two weeks for an even longer stay.

I have worked on seascapes and am still trying different approaches.  I have started moving the camera more quickly and trying to reflect the topography of the landscape.  In my processing I am reducing clarity and increasing contrast.  These are this morning’s images:

Seascape 1 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 2 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 3 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 4 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 5 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 6 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 7 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 8 – Alison Price, July 2019

Seascape 9 – Alison Price, July 2019

I feel I have made progress in my image making but still have some thinking to do before returning to Skye.  In the meantime I shall be doing more desk research and working on the production of my book.
